Dear Tickets for Schools Ambassador,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation in the Tickets for Schools scheme during the 2015/2016 season. We really appreciate the efforts at the school to fully embrace the scheme and sincerely hope that you have found the scheme to be beneficial.

It is with regret that we announce due to EFL restrictions on ticket offers we will be unable to offer Tickets for Schools for the forthcoming season.

We will keep the details of your school on file, and I will write to you again during the first half of the season to inform you of any alternatives we are able to offer.

I would also like to offer your pupils half price off our JV Life membership. Anyone who has taken part in Tickets for Schools can get a special rate of £9.95 (rrp £19.95) for a 12 month membership. Some benefits of being a member would include a welcome pack with exclusive gift, the chance to become a mascot, birthday & Christmas card, quarterly digital magazines and much more! This discount can be claimed by calling the ticket office on 0333 323 1874 and quoting the code ‘JVLT4S’.

Should there have been any changes in your contact details or if there is a change of Ticket for Schools ambassador at the school, please contact our Tickets for School coordinator by calling 0333 323 1874 or by email ticketsforschools@avfc.co.uk .

Yours Sincerely

Matthew Norris

What restrictions from the EFL are those then? Does anyone know?

I would think that is an overhang from last seasons regime rather than an impact of the new one.

I don't know for sure but I think there's a limit to the number of games where clubs can discount tickets.

I imagine the NSPCC stepped in after the last few years.

It's been a bad week for me, this was an ace quip and brought a smile back to my face. Cheers Paulie

I blame the European Union. This won't happen once brexit is complete.

That really is a 'shoot yourself in the foot' decision.

I took advantage of this last season, and was planning to more this season as my boy is just starting to come round to football.

Never mind, I'm sure there's a good reason. After all, we can't have ordinary people paying a fair price when a billionaire owner could be losing profit. It's unethical.
