Signed and commented on.

An  absolute disgrace.  One of the reasons I purchased  a season ticket this year was to stop mithering the world  "can I use your ref  for  this ticket or that ticket" - fat load of good that is doing for me so  far.

Dreading to find  out the Derby County and Bristol City prices.  Even Luton at £18 for a 1st round league cup tie is pricey.

Signed. Can't hurt. Even if it has no effect on our prices but shames them into lowering prices for the rest of the season it will be a job well done.

Footie fans won't do it; but if we don't go to the game and boycott it - sends out the biggest message.

You wouldn't have to do it many times. I would be quiet happy for the club to say we don't want any tickets, stay at home and watch it on telly.

The problem for us - and I think they know they have us over a barrel here which makes it all the more annoying - is that this is our first Championship game.

They know Villa fans won't want to look like we've abandoned our team because we were relegated. They know we will want to turn up in numbers to show we're sticking with it.

They are totally taking the piss at a level that is well beyond 'Villa are a big draw' let's charge more.

Are Sheffield Wednesday charging Villa fans more than they're charging home fans for an equivalent seat ?

Looking at their website matchday prices for an equivalent seat in their end (The Kop) for a 'category A' game is £42, while a Season Ticket works out at £21.95 a game. Maximum matchday price in other stands is £45-£49. So looks like they're ripping off their own non-ST fans as well

Evidently not, the cheapest ticket for Wednesday fans is the same and a Wednesday fan contacted me on Twitter to tell me his seat for the match is £49!
