I don't understand the thread at all.
Anyone care to explain?

Pointless is a game show where the aim is to think of an answer to a question which a survey of 100 people haven't thought of.

The thread is basically obsure old songs

Thanks Dave  :)

A No 1 song  you never hear these days is "when your smiling" - used to be sang  at all the big aways.

And if the Mancs still sing 5 Cantana's why don't we sing the 5 Ken McNaught's song.

Wasn't that just at Christmas? Remember a dozen of us being thrown out of the Crispin in Stourbridge on Christmas Eve because we sang it non-stop for 10 minutes ;-)

An older mate of mine used to speak nostalgically about an away game in the seventies (I think it may have been a Boxing Day at Derby) where Mull Of Kintyre was sung by the travelling Villa fans.

I seem to remember that one being wheeled out at Charlton in 1987. I also think that day was the first time I heard Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life being sung by football fans.
