No,no and thrice no.

In fact, if it does make an appearance at Villa Park I will make a determined effort to clap in between the 'official' clap. So there

It was very effective done by the Icelandics at the Euros ... and has become associated so strongly with them that it would seem like a parody done elsewhere.
A bit like Sppppuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrs and the Stokies nicking Sourhampton's Saints song; it just ain't right.

Hell no. I'd rather do the Birdie Song.

I promise to Thunderclap anyone that attempts this within reach of me at Villa Park.

Well this is interesting not many are up for it . I guessing it's because of the unoriginal rather than not liking the big thunder clap. It's really quite something in unionism.
Also I like the idea of the crowd chanting the surname of players when line up announced before  kick off. Also do this when pa announces goal scorer like they do at Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Arsenal do a bit of this and I think villa now being a global European club it would go well. The announcing of players surnames is great fun.
I find it far better than the pantomine cheer / jeer after players full name announced.

So a rousing chant of players surname after goals and also line up announcements should be another introduction to our new era !

That kind of thing is great if you're 10.

Not on your life. The Prem will be awash with this utter shit. Teams who play celebratory music after each goal and hand out hand clappers are welcome to it.

Seriously, if we even try it, I'm walking out.

They will try it.  And I suspect you wont walk out.

Did you see the Welsh players and fans trying to do the Clap thingy yesterday. Embarrassing mess

The clap is great when done by Iceland but the efforts I've seen/heard by other sets of supporters have been terrible.

I've heard from people who've experienced the Thunderclap that it is best avoided.

Yes, let's do this accompanied by a vuvuzela orchestra.

Strikingly original in June: copied everywhere and done to death in orchestrated attempts to create an "atmosphere" by the end of September.
