Would Chris Coleman make a good Villa manager?
« on: July 02, 2016, 11:24:33 AM »
Always been a fan and his stock has just got higher these Euros.  Villa are a club/team who need rebuilding and Coleman has proven that he can do that.  Think he has just the right level of experience and having managed abroad also has that knowledge too.

Of course it won't happen for awhile because I think he wants to see how far he can take Wales.  But in a couple of years if he was an option would you take him?

I doubt it, but it seems a bit premature to discuss when we haven't even played a game under our new manager yet.

He will end up at Smethwick when Pulis leaves in October.

If is a big word. If my auntie had a pair of bollocks she would be my uncle. Were just starting out on a whole new venture. Lets give Roberto a bit of respect and get behind him and wait to see where he can take us. Speculating about his replacement before we have even played a game under his leadership is disrespectful, disloyal and pointless.... Welcome to the Villa Roberto. Overall we Villa fans are a hugely loyal and passionate fanbase that will back you to the hilt.

That's a great question Gregory. I reckon he wouldn't be as good as Mourinho, Wenger, Guardiola or Klinsmann but i'd wager he'd be better than Sherwood, Lambert, Cack, Taylor Swift or Boris Johnson.

I've always liked Chris Coleman's teeth.

I have nothing further to add.

Two previous club jobs in England and sacked by Fulham with his biggest achievement being a ninth place finish and sacked by Coventry after finishing 19th in the championship. I will settle for the bloke who has won the champions league with Chelsea and the league we are now in with Albion.

We should not be speculating about a replacement for our new manager. Its out of order imo.
However i do like Chris Colemans teeth.

Aren't there stories of him over revving it a bit whilst manager at Real Sociadad? Mind you san Sebastian is an amazing city so hard not to enjoy it.  Regardless, I've always thought he was a good manager.

Wasn't it Coleman that was expected to join us back in '95 from Palace, and because he didn't we put a newly signed Palace midfielder in as a CB instead?
