It would make more sense to release them the other way round, as we start earlier. I don't think they've ever released them separately before. They're rubbing our noses in it.

Assuming we start a week earlier than them, and our first two games are home-away or away-home, we will be able to work out whether our first game will be home or away by whether Albion are at home in their first game.

If they're at home, we'll be away in our second game so at home first up.

If they're away, our first match will be away.

Probably but not definitely. They pair with Wolves.

Yeah I might take a glace at the amater league fixtures tomorrow just to kill a few minutes ;) Before turning my attention to the real fixtures in a weeks time when I will be plotting our rise to mid-table mediocrity! ;D

And us. We're at home when Wolves are. Albion are at home when Small Heath are.

Is it Wednesday morning fixtures are out?

I was assuming that the Premier League would be cancelled for 2016-17 and re-start again when Villa are promoted

The least they could have done was to make it a 21 team league for a year.

That's a coincidental pairing. Their official one is Wolves.

Very rare we play at home same day at Albion. Think it's happened a couple of times in last 5 years.

Next week?! That won't do. The Football League has to learn that thinking small time might have been acceptable in the past, but now we're in it we expect a much more professional outlook.

Albion away first so we will be too. Judging by Swansea and Sunderland's fixtures, Cardiff and Newcastle will also likely start with away games so we won't be playing them.
