Jack Woodward
« on: June 03, 2016, 03:13:44 AM »
It seems a bit of a shame to see Jack go without at least giving him a proper thread of his own. He just seems to be slipping out of the back door without anyone really paying much attention to his leaving.

All the best for the future Jack, wherever it lies.

Given that we will not feature much on the dark streams next season, I'll be tuning in to AVTV whoever will be commentating.

He was bloody terrible. As much as you never want to see anyone lose their job I won't miss his shit corny lines. For a club of our size we should have someone better than him.

You can't release Jack into society. How will he cope?

Sounds to me as if AVTV will be no more next season.

Hopefully, AVTV will be replaced by something much more professional and reliable. Jack was pretty poor but I don't like the thought of him losing his job. I hope he finds something suitable, quickly and is happy doing it. Good luck Jack.

Good luck Jack.

Your interview with Mr 110% still burns bright in the memory 😄

What's the most important thing about a successful team Ron?

.................................................Shape..............................

Shape Ron?

.................................Yes, shape................

You get the jist. Excruciating! To be fair Saunders could probably do that to people of a much higher calibre than our Jack, but it was almost painful to watch.

It's never nice to see anyone lose their job.  I don't have AVTV so only saw him on the free bits on the official site and can see how he would grate on your nerves.  Still, the best of luck to him in the future.

Seemed like a nice bloke but I only spoke to him a couple of times.

However, as a commentator ......... ::)

Best wishes J-Dub

Jack's corny commentaries were pretty awful but wonderfully biased!
I give him a bit of credit for that!

All the best Jack!

Chatted to him on the way back from Dublin a few years back, a really nice chap who genuinely seemed to like us as a club.

Safe to say he's not the slickest broadcaster who has walked the Earth - at the same time never short on entertainment. All the best Jack.

I'm in a minority, I know, but I thought Jack was OK. Wonderfully biased which is what I want. And I like him.
Thanks, Jack.

All the best Jack. Seemed a genuinely nice bloke who knew he had landed a cushy gig.

Does anyone know if this part of the cost cutting measures, or more of a new broom/change of direction?
