I wasn’t sure where to post this, so please feel free to move it to the appropriate section.

I’m writing a book with the working title ‘100 British Football Grounds To Visit before You Die”. More information can be found if you search for the page on Facebook (I can't post external links on here).

Following the conclusion of a public vote in 2014, Villa Park made the final 100.

I’m keen to speak to a range of fans about what is good and (for objective purposes) not so good about the ground, particularly those who remember attending Villa Park when the Trinity Road Stand was there in all its glory. Maybe you salvaged something from the demolition or have a view on what the club could have done to preserve its memory? Does the Holte End’s mock-Victorian facade compensate for the loss of the Trinity Road Stand? Does it improve what would otherwise be a generic all seater stand? What did the restoration of the Holte Pub mean to the Villa faithful? And so on.

If anyone is interested in being interviewed, please feel free to send me a PM.

As a thanks I’ll be making a donation to the Heroes and Villains website.
