Is that doable on public transport on a Monday night?

Yes depending on where you live (obviously!), the No. 10 bus from Chasetown to Walsall runs every half hour and there are trains into Brum from Walsall until nearly midnight.

Shall we run a sweepstake as to how many minutes into the first pre-season friendly someone posts on this site that we are doomed to League One?

I don't think you'll need to wait that long.

It'll be another tour of the Midlands.
Oh for those glory days of the Inter Toto... And shouldn't we have defended the Peace Cup by now?

It was abolished after 2012 when the leader of the Korean Moonies died.

Maybe our 'showpiece' Villa Park friendly could be against Leicester if they'll come.

Plenty of buses from Walsall and Lichfield go to Burntwood and the ground is around there.

Edit: Sorry didn't see the reply from Coops, the doyen of non league ground directions.

I've heard that Wrexham is a possibility. Whether that will change now with the arrival of new owners remains to be seen.
