An Alternative View Of Saturday's Debacle
« on: May 03, 2016, 11:24:49 PM »
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place but here goes...

A good friend of mine (a Coventry City fan(!?)) who writes an excellent blog came along with us to Watford, returning the 'favour' of me accompanying him to Peterborough V Cov. Seriously. It's as balanced view as anyone can expect from one of those monomanical luddites from down the road, and I even think he managed a ounce of sympathy for us.

Thanks - I really enjoyed that! He seems quite sympathetic and has a nice tone to his writing.

I really enjoyed that too, though I don't think our chants are all as funny as he does. Maybe they are funnier on first hearing, and he also caught us on a good day for noise as we had a couple of things to cheer.

"He also confirmed suspicions that Villa are about as aware of Coventry as they are of Pluto’s surface."

Sorry Coventry (or "'Cov'") its true.

Still a good read though!

... which just goes to show that the emotional rollacoaster of following football is universal; no surprise.
Great read.

A great article...he captures a lot about the club - players and fans - pretty well...nice to hear a view from "the other side".

A good read, and at last a Cov fan who understands that we DID relegate them.
