11 consecutive defeats?
« on: April 25, 2016, 10:29:40 AM »
We're in such a mess, on and off the pitch, that it's almost been overlooked. Lose at Watford on Saturday and we'll have equalled the club record for consecutive league defeats. An absolute scandal that barely registers because of the other absolute scandals going on at the club. And Newcastle could seal the record the week after.

11 defeats in a row. Rotten from top to bottom.

I can't see us winning again this season unless we do something drastic with Eric 'Cock' Black's team selections.

I honestly can't see us getting another point ths season. We don't even get close to matching sides anymore.

As bad as the Barcodes are they'll have no problems against our lot.

I think the Lerner era has smashed just about every shitty record the club has ever had the misfortune to set.
What an appalling time to be a Villa fan.

This side deserves the record. Without doubt the worst Villa team I've seen.

I think we are all so broken by it that it seems par for the course. I too can't see us getting another point this season, every element of the team is pathetic now. Black seems determined the extinguish any flickering hope of a shock point with his embarrassing team selections.

Six consecutive home defeats equalled a record too didn't it?

I'd go one further and suggest that Arsenal may very well improve on the 8 goal humping that Chelsea dished out to us the other year.

Even worse than being the worst, they don't care that they are.

The fact that this isn't the worst of our current problems says it all. It's almost as if the games are a sideshow now

The games probably ARE a sideshow though now, incredible as that seems. The most important thing to the crord now is (quite rightly) just letting these tossers know what they're thinking, while developments off the pitch is currently way more important than on the pitch.

Our remaining games are barely relevant with this team.

Love it. Can't we have Eric Cock Black on the back of the Proud History A4 posters?

It goes on his CV at least as in part he's contributed to this.

Hopefully we can stop the run soon or it'll be difficult for us to break the record again next season. Still, I'm sure we'll give it a try.

Lose to Newcastle last home game & we'll have been beaten by every team in the league in a single season. Never happened before.

I'd taken it as read that we are going to loose every remaining game, it appears the players and management are of the same frame of mind.
