I am all for retaking our club. I am flying in tonight and have checked in a pitch fork and some Canadian Ash which is great for burning, smells pleasant and will make for a wonderful torch as we storm the gates of Villa Park. Having digested as best as possible alfies rant I am convinced that the Noses are about to invade from the inside. Eric Black is one member of a sleeper cell, and will be activated once Bruce joins us in the summer. He'll appoint Francis and Savage and will bring Aston Villa to its knees.

As a wimp who drives a 4x4 home and away I have been singled out for a message from God.  As I left the ground yesterday and walked up Trinity I heard a voice from on high say "I have given the keys to the asylum to the lunatics.  I have put them under a flower pot by the gatepost at Bodymoor Heath.  Goodbye and good luck."

I happened to fall and knocked over that flower pot Brian. I came upon those keys, and have taketh them for mine own. Er, sorry about that. I like keys.

Eric Black = uncle Jack. Two times married and likes it round the back. Sending for the main man, no keys though, will have to parachute on to the pitch. Rules out Steve Bruce. No parachute is holding that fat bugger.

When the Porno Dwarves bought West Ham all they saw were the colours and thought they were buying us.
Ever since then they have been plotting to buy us, Big Eck was sent in to start us on the slippery slope  and getting Eric Black in as caretaker is almost the final piece in the jigsaw.
Mark my words when our value as an asset drops along with our league status The Porno's will reveal themselves as still owning sha and Yeung was just a patsy for them. They will ride back into Birmingham offer Randy a handful of baubles and a bottle of firewater so they can merge the two clubs to be called Birmingham Clarets. A new ground will be built on the outskirts of Tamworth, at someone else's expense obviously, and we will be able to shop in a nice shiny supermarket on Witton Lane.

Er, con trails, melting steel, flags fluttering in a void, white Fiat Uno on a grassy knoll, wake up sheeple.

Eric Black is an Undertaker not a Caretaker going by his record.

Ok Alfie, I'll discuss the original post.

Eric Black was Remi Garde's choice for assistant manager, although probably not his first choice. I don't really care where he was before he got here, so the ex-bluenose comment doesn't matter to me personally; it's a job which he performed to the best of his ability. When Remi went, what did  you expect the board to do? Just leave nobody in charge? Kevin Mac didn't do so great as a caretaker either as I recall so please don't suggest him as an alternative.

Clubs don't generally appoint caretakers when everything is going well so his record in that role will reflect that.

The board probably thought the game was up in January and have been planning for next season since then, I  think  there is a plan but whether it comes to fruition remains to be seen. The next managerial appointment is vital, please don't be swayed by where they've been before it's what they can do at Villa Park that counts.

~I haven't got the first clue what is going on here~

The signing of Eric Black was a plot to undermine Garde and replace him with a cheaper Blues related model (the board are obsessed with ex-Blues coaches). We also missed a huge opportunity in not signing Neil Warnock in January. No-one on the forum follows football or wishes to discuss it.

I think that's a fair squiggle free summary.

Not getting Neil Warnock is on a par with us not pushing on in 1990, 1993 and 2009 for me.
