Today is The West Ham of Our Discontent.
« on: April 09, 2016, 10:01:50 AM »
Anyone remember back in 1987 that faintest of faint hopes the team gave us with that 4-0 thumping at home to Wet Spam round about this time of the season.  When even Aspinall managed to score?

Only for them not to win another game for the rest of the season.

Although we are down down down I've a funny feeling today will be the Wet Spam result.  When really we could do with being put out of our misery.  Would be typical of this lot.

Memories of a West Ham victory will at least cheer David Cameron up after the week he's had

Hadn't some bloke stuck something like a grand on us to win all our remaining games and stay up, and he'd share the winnings between the players?

I'd offer to share it with the players then tell them to fcuk off as soon as the final whistle of the last game went.

The bet was for Villa to win their last four games and stay up. The West Ham game was the first of those games and the payout was reportedly £100k, to be shared amongst the squad.

To think many wouldn't be arsed if that was their monthly pay packet now.
