Picking up on a feature in today's Times and accepting that we are doomed.. Who will join us in the championship? (miracles excepted  and we stay up)

Norwich for sure. Sky will make a wankfest of the fight between Sunderland and Newcastle.

Newcastle and Norwich. If the bottom 4 weren't so woeful i'd be worried if I was a Palace fan, they haven't won in the league since before Christmas.

Seems to me the media have almost forgotten two other teams will be relegated. Please let one of them be Newcastle.

Us relegating Newcastle in our final home game would cheer me up quite a bit. Especially as they apparently don't bother with things like relegation clauses, even for the players they signed in Jan. Nice wage bill to have in Division 2.

Who cares?

It will matter from the perspective of our willingness to invest in order  to get us back up... Will we compete with Newcastle etc on the spending front?

Are we competing with them now?

Norwich look cooked.

Newcastle don't have the fight of Sunderland, but could well sack that bottling cock they have in charge in time to save themselves.

I wanted Allardyce  before Garde was appointed merely for the fact that he gets the best out of mediocre players, I think Sunderland will stay up just because of him.

Have we got such clauses?
