Fantastic read that. I guess all we can do now is reminisce about the good times.

How about you pair pack it in as well.
Listen, we're both Villa, we're all pretty fed up at the moment, but i'm just trying to be rational, although at this point in times, it's also easy to snap.So apologies for that, but I've been a ST holder for 25+ years, since I was a young nipper, so I don't appreciate wise crack comments.I've got grey hair, 6 foot 2 and usually wear a dark blue stone island jacket with a villa scarf. Come say hello, it's good to meet new fans.
I think the analogy with Houllier's time is very apt. We won't be back at Stoke for a while, although I'd much prefer to go there (easy to get to and not expensive) than some of the prospective grounds next season. The only thing I would challenge is a uniform praise of the supporters. Whilst many did come out of it with credit, quite a few round me did not, either arguing among themselves (well, maybe that is going down with a fight I guess ), or needlessly running down to the front to hurl the vilest unwarranted vitriol, particularly at Butland. Bluenose or not, nobody should be subjected to that kind of abuse.
I beg leave to tell Chicago that Jim Bowen actually used to say - great, super, smashing, super, smashing, great. I used to quote it to my language students as a fractured palindrome.
They don't make television like that any more.
