villa played B.monchgladbach in a friendly in  1991 can any tell me where this was played and score

I always think of the most unpopular supporter in football ?

"The Borrusia Monchongladbach supporter who shouts "GIVE US A "B"

Speaking of them, didn't we play them in a friendly at VP in the autumn of 1976 ?

Aren't they a team on Channel 9 News?

This is right at the start of my time supporting Villa. I would have been six at the time. Didn't this tour end up with us signing Stefan Beinlich and another German player? I could be absolutely wrong about this.

IIRC we played Eintracht Frankfurt in a friendly that autumn. As well as a more notorious  friendly with the Queen's Eleven.

There’s not too much detail about this game (and the tour in general) as there was a lot going on at the time (Platty leaving, BFR signing new players on a hourly basis and consequently a mass of players linked which to took up much of the back pages of the local papers). Anyway, here’s the Mail’s snippets on the match.

I found an old programme at the weekend which mentions this game, apparently a player called "Horse Steffan" scored the only goal in front of 5500 fans, it doesn't say where though.

The other player was Mattaeus Breitkrutz (sp) to my mind the more talented of the pair but he didn't have much impact here.

I see your Berlusconi and raise you Bellflower Boulevard.

I could have raised you Benjamin Britten but that is my favourite ventriloquist name and a stray off topic too far.
Sorry already posted!
