They're going to be an interesting "sell" this summer, aren't they?

I think you've nailed it.

November 2016 on Pravda.

"Have your own seat at Villa Park for the second half 16/17 Season"

We guarantee that watching matches from your very own seat provides the best possible value, rather than purchasing on a game-by-game basis. PLUS this year our prices have been frozen!

Half Season Tickets include 12 home Championship League matches starting from the Gillingham match on December 26th through to the final home game of the season against MK Dons on May 7th

If you purchase a Half Season Ticket before 3pm on November 30th you will receive a bonus ticket for the Burton Albion match for free*

Additionally, every supporter who purchases a Half Season Ticket before November 30th will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the Walsall fixture at an discounted rate of £30 for Adults, £25 for Concessions and £20 for Juniors (subject to availability)*

Pay for your Half Season Ticket over three months with our interest free scheme.

5% of the value of your Season Ticket will automatically be added to your Villa Cash account

That made me laugh. The 'opportunity' to pay £30 to watch Villa v Walsall in the league, but only if there's enough left  ;D

would be nice if they contemplated reimbursing us poor mugs who have thrown money at them for the past 5 years.  It won't happen, at best it will be price freeze with added bonus of 4 free games.  On a Tuesday night..

Or a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday Morning.

At last! An answer to the question "Whatever happened to Craig David?"

On Monday, took a team to Derby
We were moved for Sky on Wednesday
On Thursday and Friday and Saturday we played Hull, Burnley and QPR
We played Bolton on Sunday.............

I've heard that Villa Cash is being re-branded to 'Villa Crash' next season...

Posted this to another site, but I finally got round to creating an account here (and bung it some money instead of leeching away in the background).

Here's what happened to ST prices for the clubs relegated in the last two seasons:
  • Burnley -   Price freeze after relegation (or, as they charged 50% more for non-early birds for their Prem s/t, a 50% reduction if you look at it that way).
  • Hull - Price freeze on relegation (still expensive though!)
  • QPR - ca.20% reduction on relegation
  • Norwich - £20 reduction
  • Fulham -  25% reduction
  • Cardiff - price freeze

My speculation is that it'll be a price freeze, with sweeteners only for those forced to relocate if Upper Trinity is mothballed.

I'm sure I read somewhere the cheapest Hull ST is something like £530.

My season ticket in the Trinity worked out at £27 a game this season - anything above £20 a game next season will be taking the piss, but it really should be even lower than that.

£20 a game works out at £460, which is a reduction of £70.  Working on 20,000 sales as a round figure that's £140,000 the club would be down, which is only the same as losing 264 sales if the price stays as it was. We'll lose a lot more than 264 season ticket holders if they don't reduce them.

Selling seats for games against the likes of Ipswich on a cold wet Tuesday night in January should be a lot easier to do in the summer than trying to give them away on a cold wet Monday morning in January.

Quite simply the club has to maximise season ticket sales and the only way to do that in the Championship is by getting the price right.

I can't see much of a reduction.

The equivalent of my Villa seat at Bristol Rovers costs £24.
