When we met Fox for the pre AGM forum meeting thing, he seemed surprised that Sherwood hadn't gobbed off about the players when doing the Sky punditry so I am not sure there are any confidentiality clauses in his pay off.

Mind you, Fox was also baffled about his previous gobbing off to the press if he does rate the players.

It must be incredibly tempting to gob off in his situation. And, in the short term, it might seem like it helps to repair your reputation. But in the long term he comes out much better if he is magnanimous. He's more likely to get another managerial job and will definitely get more work on the Beeb. If he was gobbing off he'd be signed up by Talksport. No-one aims for that.

I don't think anyone's actually denying the guy a living but surely highlights are accompanied by analysis, that's why Wright and Sherwood were there. In regards to the Villa match, there was none...whatsoever.

There was nothing they could analyse except the penalty appeal, which Sherwood said should have been given. Neither keeper had a meaningful save to make.

Was it him or Mr "Marvellous" Wilkins?

Well Sherwood can't say too many bad things as it will make him untouchables to chairman/owners of football club.

Wilkins was an absolute joke.

As and when we drop, he'll be as accountable as anyone else.
