He's a remarkable sportsperson. One of, if not the greatest, that Britain has produced.

Brilliant by Andy to win that in two straight sets!! World Number one still! I suspect we'll be saying that for some time now, especially with Ivan Lendl guiding him!!

I really hope he gets 5 or 6 Grand Slams over the next two years, he really deserves it.

Be nice to see him win the French and Australian to complete the set.

A fabulous achievement, achieved through talent and obsessive single-mindedness.

In his generation he has faced Djokovic, Nadal and Federer, yet through bloody mindedness and determination has reached number 1.
Most humans would have settled for the #4 seed and lived a very successful life, but that never seemed to be enough for Murray.

Andy  Murray was once a great  base line player, now  he actually looks to attack this opponent and has developed some terrific cross court shots. Easily, the best British more sportsman  who has achieved his potential in my lifetime.

Surely he can win the Australian at some point, think he's been in 5 finals and never won it. Think the French will be a struggle though.

Ah, but Lendl is back on board now. The stunning success of the last 5 months has coincided with Lendl's return. He'll win in Australia and retain his Wimbledon title, that's my prediction...
