In the Age and Mind of the Keyboard Warrior, Words speak louder than Actions - which don't exist.

I think it's as simple as this: if you're pissed off and want to protest; don't bother, stay away, the owner wants to sell anyway. If you want to support the team, then go down there and get behind them. They need all the support they can get at VP. I understand the rabid protests at Wycombe and think it probably did us a world of good

I think a lot did stay away last night

I went to see if there was any protest last night and saw nothing - the only thing was booing the 3 Stooges from Saturday whenever their names were announced.

Funniest moment for me was when I predicted the "he's one of our own" chant for Lescott after he scored - everyone was laughing as they sang it fully aware of the irony

I was not there because the ancient and time honoured ritual of closing the M6 from the A14 was initiated by the Highways Agency new once weekly measurement of the capacity of Britain's trunk roads to serve as long term linear car parks. I turned round and came home.

I would like to protest at the lack of adequate street lighting on Trinity Road. In particular, on the park side next to the multi sport pitch things.

I ended up wading through a fucking giant puddle I couldn't see and ruined a new pair of shoes.

Down with this sort of thing.

That's where Leeg used to stand for H&V selling, so it's hardly surprising  ;)

There always has been a big puddle in Trinity Rd by where Legion is shat on by the pigeons. The giant pissoir that stood opposite the Holte was actually higher than Trinity Rd in both directions.  The recycled Ansell's  used to overflow south to the river and north to a small lake behind the Trinity. After a game when the early leavers ran for a tram or a bus it was like that scene in True Grit where they gallop across the river.

I forget all about the protest to be honest.
