protests
« on: January 10, 2016, 08:15:35 PM »
THe anger of fans is justified but the ideas going around for protests inside the ground  and abuse of the players and manager as seen after the Wycombe game make no sense at all. The problems are all at board level and their activities - or lack of activity - has to be questioned and changes made. We are not finished as a club even if we go down, and we are not down yet, though I doubt we can survive. However a cup run is not impossible.

Even it this does not happen, the club has to start building for the future, and the poor atmosphere inside the stadium has to be improved. Having protests that would make the squad get even more nervous and make even more mistakes is not sensible. There is no point in making a bad situation worse. Aim higher, aim for the man in New York who would not be affected by stadium protests. Much of the pressure that got Deadly to opt out was from an independent report into what was going wrong at that time. Repeating that would be sensible, even if no likely to make fans feel better.

Perhaps after investing an awful lot to reach a Carling Cup Final and lose. Then cut back and reach a FA Cup Final and lose.

He might just be thinking sit back and wait to get lucky.....

People have a tendency to attack the visible. We can't generally see Fox or Lerner. We CAN see the players and the Manager, therefore, they get the stick. Fortunately, the media also see this too but they are able to put to words where the fans can't and are beginning to recognise the issues within the club and are starting to report it accurately.

I've said it before fox  and  Lerner are the major culprits and very clever in letting the previous  managers and the current one along with the players take all the abuse while they hide away ,it doesn't  matter what you pay the player if their not good enough their not good enough

According  to some of the papers fox  is flying out for crisis talks with lord Lucan across the pond to try to save our season no doubt he'll be flying lazy jet because of the cut backs

They should put him in dinghy and launch him from Lizard Point.

Of course the management of the club has been poor at Board level for a long time, but Saturday's performance was a completely abject set of players apparently not giving a toss about wining the match.

There seems to be a lack of wanting to play for this manager by some of the players and they seem to be those who are not French. If the reports of Lescott and Guzan having a gum spitting competition from the bench are true, they should be fined by the club for inappropriate behaviour and their responses to the fans. It would seem that the behind the scenes behaviour and attitude of some players is reflected in their on the pitch performances. Perhaps they believe they can force the manager out, as has happened at other clubs, but I doubt they are good enough players to force that action.

If today's visit to Lerner by Fox and the Director of Football is about obtaining funds, it is probably too late for this season, so why would he make significant funds available, as their past record of purchases of players has hardly been successful, and why would any decent player want to join Villa now?

We could all wear black on the day as a protest of once proud club.

Why are the board flying out to Randy? Why can't that twonk get his arse over here? He's got an office in the club gathering dust. There's probably a half eaten maggot infested PB&J sandwich he left in his desk drawer the last time he visited.

I like to think of it as a hybrid of twat,  tosser and wanker.

It is very efficient. I wish Bacuna was as efficient a hybrid of a right back, right winger and central midfielder. But he's not...in fact he's a twonk.
eh thank you.
