The negative chanting should be directed at our useless owner. He gets an easy ride by hiding and staying silent. Can you imagine the demonstrations if Doug was still in charge given our current position?

I don't have to imagine them. I remember them. And how ineffective they were.

Thats all very well, but Lerner gets an incredibly easy ride after 5 years of dross culminating in the worst Villa team in living memory...more unwanted records to be set over the next few months.

Do something yourself then.

I am thinking of starting an ironic protest conga in the Upper Trinity on Boxing Day.

I think the players get off very lightly. Whatever chants emanate from the stands, come from tired, weary and thoroughly pissed off supporters, sick of throwing their hard earned at individuals, not remotely qualified to wear a claret and blue shirt. Tarred and feathered would be more appropriate.

I'm amazed people bother to turn up anymore. Those who do probably need something to cheer themselves up.

Looking at the attendance yesterday I think it's going to get worse
I can't see many dads treating their lads to a Boxing Day Villa fun-fest v Wet Spam on Boxing Day!

A bit of negative chanting is pretty light. The players and the hierarchy at the club are lucky we've not had the flaming torches and pitchforks out yet.

I am treating the wife to it. She is trying to get me to sell the tickets (I don't think she realises that I would have to pay someone to take them off my hands).

The one thing that is not happening though is thankfully the team are not getting it in the neck during the 90 minutes.  We are all  in it together.

It's hardly new either. Off the top of my head the last few seasons have seen "Let's pretend we've scored a goal", "How shit must you be - we're winning away", "Duh, duh, duh, duh, shot on target" etc, etc.

We've always been pretty good at gallows humour. Much better that than taking ourselves far too seriously like the bindippers up the road, celebrating a last minute equaliser against the Boggies.

We are breaking unwanted records with every passing game. If you didn't laugh you'd cry.

People are just tired of five years of this unending tsunami of utter Blues.  It's to be expected and the idiots have got away pretty bloody lightly if you ask me.

It's true. If we were, say Spurs or Everton we'd be the main sports story every day. As it is, we're not being reported upon as a major catastrophe because it's so expected. And that's probably the worst thing!
