playing west ham at home on boxing day reminds me of the time we played west ham at home on boxing day in 1975
we won 4-1  and it was the height of the releasing balloons as the teams came out
the day after boxing day is called December 27 ,,,,,
so the day after we beat west ham we played derby away ,,,,,,,, and i was at both matches
anyway we lost that match 2 nil,,,,,,,,,,but we still got promotion at the end of the season
and guess what derby won last night to go top of the table and will probably also get promoted at the end of the season
its a small world

Except for the fact that we'd been promoted the season before.

Yeah, but still. We played Derby that season and Derby have played matches this season too. Pretty spooky coincidence.

I think the day after is the 28th but I may be wrong.

We've probably saved the deficit from not having to pay win bonuses.

Im surprised anyone would want to ruin their boxing day buying tickets for this. I truly feel for the season ticket holders. 2 points from 24

It's a strange kind of fatalism by now I should think. I was a ST holder last time we went down, we spent most of the second half of the season just laughing at our ineptness.
