Good assessment Dave.Regarding Remi's English, having heard his post match interview, it's clear English is not an issue, especially compared to Timmy's version of it. Shouldn't be a problem for any player, though don't know how Remi's Spanish is.I thought his demeanour during the match was excellent, and seemed to be a lot of concentration on how they were playing and what he wanted when at certain periods. A far cry from our previous comatose managers.
The most encouraging thing (apart from them passing to each other and holding on to the ball for several minutes rather than several seconds) was when Remy wanted to make a point, he was able to signal from the bench, the players did as they were asked and they understood what he wanted. Complete contrast to the last 2 managers who waved arms about and nobody had a clue what they wanted. Apart from signalling for the men in white coats to take them away.
