Three Little Birds is alright. We should learn the rest of he words mind.

The songs about how shit we are etc were moronic, but when every year 10 and 11 appeared to be on a jolly from school, it wasn't hard to see why the moron stakes were upped.

Kids em daft.

Would you rather those morons support Man City or Chelsea?

Are we not allowed to criticise any Villa fans now?

We have loads of imbecile fans. So do most clubs.

The Earth Dies Screaming by UB40, off Signing Off.

It just has the right feel in terms of describing watching us these days.

Or maybe One in Ten by UB40 would be more appropriate, that reflecting our league win rate this season.

I always thought Go square Go by glasvegas was a football chant with guitars. Its prime material for some club to take ownership.

Ah, thanks PWS. I think the main, and surprising, take away from that is that any lilting ballad can be improved by being chanted by 5000 slightly scary Dutch fellas. Dido, take note.

I wasn't having a go, but, being a teacher in Brum, I'm always delighted when children support the Villa as far too many support Chelsea/Man City/Man Utd etc.

The fact they're supporting Villa should be celebrated, not knocked.

That's fine, but I'm just happy people that young actually support Villa.

I'm not sure that joining in with opposition chants that we're going down and that we're f@@@ing shit, in the first 10 minutes of a game that's still 0-0, actually counts as support.

The Earth Dies Screaming by UB40, off Signing Off.

It just has the right feel in terms of describing watching us these days.

Different genre, but Fade To Black or Welcome Home (Sanitarium) or Sad But True by Metallica would all do a job.

Whoever the new manager is, he'll be hoping we adopt Patience by Guns'n'Roses and by the time this is all over I suspect we could all be singing along to Lithium by Nirvana.
