Off levels ie same chances, same support players, same spread of opposition quality, same rub of the green I would back Libor Kozak to outscore Adebayor over a season all day long. Libor looks up for it, Adebayor quite the opposite. I think there is the big banana skin of sentiment looming under Sherwood's foot just like N'Zogbia did for TSM1.

I agree, it looks like Adebayor doesn't want to come to B6, except possibly as a last resort, so Kozak would be preferable, especially if we have to pay all Adebayor's wages.

If he comes, I hope it's only a loan deal.

Kozak is not the answer to our forward line, big, slow and cumbersome, we've already got Gestede to cover that.

I think if Adebayor really wanted to join Villa he'd have done so by now

Absolutely take him on loan. We've only got 34 league games left, and he tends to play a lot better when he needs a contract.

Say Adebayor is on 100k per week and £1m loan fee. That's about £6.5m cost to us for the year?

I wonder what it'd take to get Ausitn out of QPR for the year...

No for me. Sooner play Gestede, Kozak, Sinclair, Ayew. Those writing off Kozak and Gestede should consider their game time vs goals ratio so far and say that neither are doing too badly. Ayew needs more time also. Sinclair is on fire.

Nothing to do with Levy. He wants to drive up from London everyday from his cosy surroundings which means he will no doubt turn up for training at whatever time he fancies and not at 9AM which Sherwood has stated is the time they start.

He is an unprofessional billy big potatoes egotist who has (or had) the undoubted ability to score a few goals. But Sherwood seems to favour him so its probably on but don't be surprised if he causes unrest in the camp with his attitude. One might ask why West Ham pulled out of a deal for him?

A few weeks back when we were doing a lot of business and re-building I'd have said yes. Since the season's started I've changed my mind and now I wouldn't take him. As others have said if he'd really wanted to be at villa, he'd have signed by now. We could just about manage without a fired up Adebayor champing at the bit  -  we can certainly manage without an unmotivated couldn't really give a fuck adebayor.

Not Getting a proven scorer in could well be the difference between finishing Lower-mid table than higher-mid table. But with Sinclair showing he has goals in him, and under the circumstances with adebayor keen then not keen then talking to west ham and all of that carry-on I'd leave it now.

Great if we get someone else in, but won't be the end of the world if we don't get another striker in.

Let Levy enjoy paying his wages and Ade enjoy living in London doing F all for another year.

There was a moment in time for this one but it has passed.  Fuck 'em both.
