Let's hope he's better than other Traores that have played in England.

Smile more than Charles, drink less than Jack and don't take the first opportunity for big money to sit on your arse like Scott did and you'll be fine.

Fast, tricky wingers are by far the most compatible kind of player for Youtube highlight vids exaggerating their abilities but he must be doing something right to be making Spanish youth sides.

I'd rather take the punt on him (and I'm guessing Barca might put a buyback clause in?) than spend twice the amount for Andros Townsend.

Just stumbled across this:

http://www.modernghana.com/sports/635631/2/jordan-beware-aston-villa-sign-barcelona-youngster.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

Which contains the funniest line of text I've ever read:

Quote
He'll have great role models to look up to at Villa Park in Charles N'Zogbia, Scott Sinclair and Jack Grealish.

In the case of Jack, he'll have a better chance of seeing him if he looks down.

Howard Hodgson has tweeted the fee as £4.2m done deal

Surely that's just the up front bit and there will be add ons. The kid looks insanely good.
Apparently his release clause is 6m euros, which would equate to around £4.2m.

And as we've all learned over the summer, if there's a release clause then it's difficult to negotiate too much more around it.

Hold on... I thought release clauses only stitched villa up rather than working for us?

News Now reporting this as a done deal from a lot of sources...though, of course, they are probably all just copying it from one original article

Blimey.  Even allowing for the fact that N'Zogbia and Kozak look to be surplus to requirements, that's still Ayew, Gabby, Sinclair, Gil, Grealish, Gestede and Traore to fit into 3 attacking positions.

Looks like we've won the bidding war with Stoke then.

I wonder if Barcelona have wangled some new terms out of us regarding his release clause?

Perhaps we're paying then in three instalments, each of 100%?

Or maybe we've agreed to play the rest of the season in clown shoes?

I just hope that Liverpool don't come in with a higher bid.

Is this Adama closer to Lorne Greene or Edward James Olmos?
