Great, every week I watch it I get see Ferguson and Kidd on the pitch in 1993 during the opening credits. Tossers.

I'm sick to death of seeing that on Sky on that crappy advert with Henry.

Me too.

I've been driving my mrs mad with that. Every time it is on, I have to launch an outburst in the direction of the telly.

Pretty sure that's of note because most clubs (especially at PL level) don't run morning AND afternoon sessions. It's still ridiculous, but it is what it is.

Would this game have been last but one if Bournemouth had won?

No. A team that's never been in the top-flight beating a team that pretty much always has been, and indeed was the founder of the league system, in its first ever game in the top-flight in front of a CAPACITY 11.5k crowd would have been more of a story. What's the problem with that?

Thought they were pretty on the ball with the game.
First half was Bournemouth, we clawed back into it.
Gestede had a great impact and Richards was very impressive throughout.
TS interview with Lineker was spot on, seems pundits are taking a liking to us, due to Tims likeability.
Was great that he actually see's what us fans see, his tactics although did not work initially, we much improved the second half, with great use of subs.

The subs were spot on today. A minor wrong from last season sorted that no subs scored for us last season.

Oh god this thread is going to be full of conspiracies isn't it?

There were two games yday which involved only one goal. They were last and penultimate last night. That's generally the way it works. There's an easy way for villa to get earlier in the running order and that's be more exciting

There was a really good article about the techniques that Swansea use in the guardian a couple of weeks back. They run a morning and afternoon session for their players and provide them with a "pod" to sleep/rest in in between!

It's hard to believe that they didn't even their own training ground until very recently and trained at a local sports centre.

Talking of adverts, the BT Sport advert irritates me, the playboy type lifestyle of footballers one.

Tim impresses me more and more also. Before anybody mentions it, yes we know it is PR and he is very aware of his career needs to project a good image but he is very good at PR and it really is good for the club.   At Forest some little Forest fans kids wanted a photgraph with him and he let them come on the touchline to be photraphed by their moms and dads.  He laughed and said  "be quick, I have to watch the game". Refreshingly charming and fan aware.

Tim last season was very much heart on sleeve, I thought his interview on motd , he was more measured, and yes his subs worked, nice to see.

The stupid woman on the Football League show does my head in. Why is it that the majority of women on TV to present/discuss sport, haven't got a fucking clue. All they know is Man Utd/Man City/Arsenal/Chelsea and the EPL. Not a fucking clue and irritating. The dopey mare on BBC breakfast (the one who looks like a horse), is also a fucking idiot.

There's a lot of shit male presenters, but the good to bad ratio is better than the women's. Eleanor Oldroyd is about the only decent female sports presenter I can currently think of.

I blame Sky Sports.

Surely the only requirements should be is, 1) not be annoying and 2) have a clue what you're talking about.
