There's a photo essay in the Guardian about an estate in Walthamstow. Photo 11 has a kid in Villa gear! https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2016/oct/26/a-red-brick-utopia-the-warner-estate-in-pictures
.

i bloody loved that tracksuit

if ever there was a retro top waiting to be made

I had the pyjamas from that era, what ever nylon they were made from combined with brush nylon ? sheets meant when you got in bed you stuck like Velcro - it was awful, I didn't wear them in bed very often !
I thought he was brave wearing it in what I assume to be Wet Spam country. I didn't realise he risked death from static electrocution as well.

More Spurs there than any other club, based on a fair number of nights out chatting to locals (one of my best friends  lives there)

Good  to see there is a supporters club  that has been set up again in London.  From what I read individuals make the 120 miles trip regularly but only a few  times a  year is anything properly organised.

I suppose the whole package is different these days - no British  Rail,  price of football would not have allowed a  15 year old like myself to travel every week these days sometimes  getting  home at 5am in the morning from a night match in Manchester.

Just emailing Dave Callaghan about some hospitality tickets.  Any of the other originals  interested in a get together at the Villa later on in the season and don't say 10th March Wolves  - I am on holiday.
