I suspect he'll start well, but as soon as they have a poor season, he'll be overlooked in favour of a more glamorous signing.

I'd guess:

Man City from 2015-17, during which time he'll go from first choice to largely forgotten.

Everton 2017-19, he's the most Everton player ever.

July 8th 2019, declares undying love for Everton.

July 12th 2019, signs for Tottenham. 2019-20 periphery figure at Tottenham.

2020 linked with transfer to Villa. H&V goes into meltdown in battles between the "fuck it, he'd improve the team" and "fuck him, he's a c***" camps with bannings galore and flouncing off to the The Balls are Reeking. Delph signs for Sunderland, as Villa boss Mark Kinsella declares we were never after him anyway as we're confident that this will be Gary Gardner's breakthrough year.

Three solid but unspectacular years at Sunderland precede spells at Leeds, the Milwaukee Megahounds, and retirement.

Any mention of Delph is anything but fun as far as I am concerned.
