Brigada 1874 - Season Video
« on: July 09, 2015, 11:48:22 AM »
Here's a short review of some of the displays we put on last season. We'll be moving forward to the front of L7 next season so there's more space for anyone wanting to get involved to come over and join us.

For anyone who's interested the music is from a brilliant local band called Broken Witt Rebels.

Moving into L7 this year with my 3 boys and bro. (from the Upper North). Just to get away from the stewards in there and saviour a better atmosphere.  Agree though that we shouldnt need the drum to 'drum' up an atmosphere..

You need to delete the "s" at the end of the http when you paste it into H&V:

I don't want to sound old man and dislike whinging for whinging's sake, but to echo what others have said the drum really does need to go. We're not Bolton Wanderers.

In defense of the drum the reason we have it is to keep a consistent rhythm to the songs, otherwise the tendency is that people get faster and faster with the clapping until the song burns out. I've no idea how loud it is as i'm always very close to it, obviously we don't want the sound to be overbearing though, it's only supposed to be a backbeat not the main thing you can hear.

Yeah, there's been a small increase year on year since we started mate, there's always some turnover within the group though, people have kids, new jobs and have less time to be involved, then younger lads come in and replace them. I think this year will be a seminal one for us, moving to a bigger area, closer to the pitch we'll be more visible and less peripheral.

Good video bruisedshins.

I was near Brigada for the W Ham game and the drum didn't bother me. Look forward to more colour and noise this season.

Good work again.

I can't say the drum bothers me too much either.

I think the drummer could benefit from some professional guidance.

Our main drummers rhythm is pretty good, we have given the drum to kids in the section before though who've asked if they can play it, some of them are quite good, others are still learning  ;D
