Long shot request for amateur team shirt sponsorship
« on: July 09, 2015, 11:27:34 AM »
Long shot I know - but if any of you self made men wish to give a little back to grass roots football I'm taking a side of teenagers into the Birmingham Under 21 league next season.

I need £500 to sort them out with a sponsored kit; six of them along with myself are season ticket holders so I'll be happy to put tickets your way when our fixtures clash.

Get involved - grass roots is where it's at x

Not sure how appropriate it would be considered due to their age but in my experience local pubs are usually a good shout.

That's my main problem; at 17 years old they're a year away from a Landlords support.

I need something universal; something like a popular cash rich internet fans forum?

Could you do a poll on here and see how many people would likely donate? I would. Say £20?

H&V on the front?

Sorry, obviously I don't speak on behalf of the people who run this site.

Could set up a crowd funding I suppose and link it here? People could donate what they wanted then. May take a little time though which would be a problem.

Thank you for the pm's; I've been away but if anyone would like further information please don't hesitate to ask. Still looking for a sponsor.

Try contacting your local Wilko or Homeserve. They have funding for things like this. We got rejected by Wilko last year as we already have sponsored kits, but have asked Homeserve for printed purple t-shirts and should hopefully hear soon.

Also try MacDonalds as they were committed to supporting local sports amenities/clubs. However my involvement with my lads football team ended a couple of seasons ago so my info may be dated

thought of crowd-funding it? it's the internet equivalent of walking around a pub with a collection tin!
