GK
Shay Given age 39        Turn him out to pasture

Defenders
Ciaran Clark aged 25   Keep
Nat Baker aged 24      Keep
Kieron Richardson (1 year option extension) aged 30   Keep for now (sell if we buy another left back)
Leandro Bacuna aged 23 (24 by start of 15/16 season) Keep and play in Midfield.
Phillipe Senderos aged 30   Keep for one more season
Joe Bennett aged 25        Keep for now, one season to prove he deserves another contract

Midfielders
Joey Cole aged 33  Maybe keep around for experience, but do not play!!!
Charlie N'zogbia aged 29   Sell, give away, kill, take him to Bournemouth and leave him on the beach, whatever just get rid.
Gary Gardner aged 22 (23 by start of 15/16 season)  Give him 1 season to prove himself, last chance saloon
Chris Herd aged 26   Is he still alive?

Strikers
Callum Robinson aged 20  Give the boy a chance.

All this changes if we win the lottery!! Then I would sell the bloomin lot!!!

Bit harsh on Baker , I rate him if he can stay fit.

They'll all stay, nobody's going to pay much for them with a year left on their contracts. I'd keep Baker and Senderos for now. They're both back in the pecking order, especially if Richards plays centre-half, but could be decent as back up. If either comes in to the team and does well I wouldn't be averse to giving them a new deal.

I think Zoggy has had enough chances. Wouldn't be averse to loaning him to save a bit of his wages. Can't wait till his contract expires.

Clark really has come on. I think the troubled years on relegation fights has been a great experience for him for learning. I hope not only as a supporter but for Clark and team they get an 'easier' season than that of previous years.
He's a ball player when in confident mood. i remember seeing him in a cup tie ,when we didn't struggle to beat those loiwer teams, take the ball run with it and score an amazing goal it was against Bristol rovers if I recall correctly.
Shades of Gareth Barry back then dare I say.

If someone wants to take Zogbia off us for nothing this summer I'd happily let him go. Bloody appalling player 95% of the time. And the other 5% he manages mediocre. Chance after chance. Not even that shambles Ireland was given chance upon chance to turn his career round here.

I would keep Clark, Baker and Robinson. The rest either sell now or let their contracts run out if there are no takers.

There are strong reports linking Bennett with a move to Fulham. They signed jazzz Richards and want Bennett as the other full back. I reckon £1 to £1.5 mil fee. Bought Bennet at £2- £2.5 mil. I think if we are getting a couple of defenders in his lb position okay. As cissoko off too otherwise we need him as a backup.

Got to agree. He's in the last year of his contract now so don't be surprised to see him play like a world beater next season to either get a new deal or a new club.

I don't see where N'Zogbia can fit in this season. If we bring Chery in and Gil is now in Tim's thoughts (as reported), N'Zogbia is slipping ever further down the pecking order whilst on a very high salary. I agree that if we can find a taker for him this summer we should cut our losses.
