Thread bumped again.......half expected to read that he is playing in goal against QPR
We've "employed" some wasters in our time - this guy is certainly in the all time top ten

probably No1 to be fair .. least some of the crap played even if they played crap ..he beats nzogbia for starters now.

its a close run thing with N'zog but your probably right

July 12th would have been the 1000 day mark but he’ll be gone by then. Thank god!

I’d put Ireland above N’Zogbia in terms of a waster. Richards is the overall winner by far.

Imagine making a documentary about us this decade!

thing is with N'zobia is that he didn't even try and hide it
he just kept rubbing our faces in it with pictures of him dressed up in ridiculous clothes on social media, just ripping the piss

in a way you have to admire the sheer brass neck of it whereas with Micah hes just a mystery no one talks about

Ireland and zog are piss takers for sure but they both gave us decent games/performances/runs. Richards hasn’t had one single good game for us and therefore wins hands down in the waste of money stakes.

I've watched some poor players in the claret and blue over so many years but at least the majority of them put in their best efforts and earned their money. Is Richards symptomatic of the modern game/ greedy world we live in?

If he is terminally Crocked and uninsured, which I believe is the case.
Then his choice is to walk away with nothing or sit and watch his contract run down.
The club has no choice in this matter except to pay his contract off which would have FFP implications.
There used to be a tax adavantage to paying down a contract early but that loop hole does not exist now.
Ask your selves, what would you do in Richards situation and I bet most would sit it out and take the money.

To be fair, it's not his fault that he was given such a lucrative and lengthy contract. The blame lies squarely with the club.
