Positives from the Cup Final

A big thank you to the gentleman who sat across the aisle from me on Coach 29. As well as being great company on the journey there and back he promised to let Freddy have his scarf as we missed out due to being in Block 530. He was true to his word.

The total amount I spent the whole day to watch that embarrassment of a display by a team masquerading as Aston Villa was £10 on drinks in the pub

I snuck into a photograph with Tom Ross.

Scraping the barrel for positives, aren't I?

I saw Colin Gibson and Tony Daley out and about outside before the game, separately. Tony looks a lot better preserved than Colin.

The pre-match fun at the Green Man was incredible and the best football piss-up I've ever been too.

I meant to speak to you about that scarf Lee, he could have had mine.

I didn't have to get up early this morning to drive the 100 or so miles to Birmingham to watch the open top bus parade with my lad in the pissing down rain so had a lie in until about 11.

Spent a quality day out with my 19 year old son. A couple of pre match beers in the sunshine and a bite to eat. Felt like turning the clock back a few years when we used to spend a lot of time together.

Even queuing for the trains back we managed to see the funny side of various Chiltern Railways personnel and their total lack of knowledge as where the trains were actually going!

Probably cost me £300 for our day out, but other than the match I wouldn't change a thing

It could have been against Chelsea/Man city.

At least most of Arsenal's players are bought by cash generated by the club.
