Season of significant change, two thirds dire one third good and a historic cup run. Honourable mentions at varying points in time for Hutton, Nzogbia , Given who have all come in from nowhere and done well. Tom Cleverly gas been superb under Sherwood. The Beast has found his Mojo again.
Clark has become a man this season, what a future asset, Baker not far behind.

Shouldn't really be Grealish but says it all that a player that's only done it in half a dozen games or so can be so far better than just about any other option.

In the end Delph edged it for me because I felt that his announcement of signing a new contract was the beginning of the FA Cup having a very different feeling to everything that was going on around it.

I think he is at the centre of a core of players who are creating a culture of Villa being the place they want to be. Sinclair is also saying the 'Big Time' isn't all it's cracked up to be, & Cleverley too, saying it's more important to be happy than earn EVEN more money, and he is happy here. Delph is very much at the root of this culture though, and it's a culture that just might (as its our only chance) lead to us keeping Benteke.

This was topped off by him standing and applauding the away support for an age at the end of the game on Saturday at Southampton - it was like he was actually going to stand and applaud every last one of us out of the ground, and then follow us home and stand outside our house applauding us. It wasn't a cursory, wander past the way fans with your hands over your head for a few claps - he really wanted us to know he meant it. So - my vote gives it back to him!

All this of course on top of him being generally brilliant on the pitch, especially recently.

Clark - because he was the most consistent / improved player. When all around him were shite & senior defenders were missing, he stepped up.

Good goal, but Benteke at home v Yanited, I was right behind that as it nestled in the old onion bag, really classy goal and De Gea didn't even move.

The latter because apart from possibly Okore there was not much competition from others, something I am sure TS will address next season.
