5. Doc Pace and Billy Myerscough

8. Stan Crowther

11. Peter Aldis

That's about all I can come up with off the top of my head. Not bad really as I have difficulty remembering what I did yesterday most of the time.

All correct I think EIA  Peter Aldis was born in Kings Heath.

To make it interesting, seeing as how I am unable to get to Wembley, in lieu of a prize I'll donate £3 to Acorns for every question that is answered correctly. So I stand to get stiffed for £45 if all are answered.

So far :-

ALITA - None correct I am afraid, although you do get credit in that 1975 is an anagram of 1957.

CDBullyWeeFan
Sorry for the difficulty, that's what you get when we only win the thing every 58 years or so.

7. Close enough to be correct. We borrowed shirts from Small Heath but red not blue. I thought that was the hardest question.
10. Correct in the end Bramhall Lane, 5 Times. SoundofVillaDelphia credited with getting there first.
12. Not quite, waiting for a better answer.

Exeter77
3. Not Ray Graydon

SilhillVilla

1. Correct, three times (1929,1934,1974)

SoundofVilladelphia
Did you put a stamp on the card?

4. Stoke City at Molineux, Correct
10. Bramhall Lane, 5 times, Correct

Archbishop
Compared to what I was expecting, a used envelope is fine.

Louzie
Sterling effort, kudos for identifying the anal nature of the quiz.
1. Correctish,  but SilhillVilla got there first.
7. Red, correct but CDBullyWeefan got there first.

EIAdio
5. Doc Pace and Billy Myerscough, correct
11. Peter Aldis, correct

Honours board for first correct answers

2 was the home tie with Bristol City
3 - if it's not Gerry Hitchens who someone said earlier then are we looking at Schoolboy internationals - so maybe Norman Ashe or Alan Baker?
8 - Stan Crowther played for Man Utd in the FAC semi-final v Fulham at Villa Park the following season, having already played for us in the 3rd round that season.

Good quiz.

I think me and Lou should get half of question seven right each seeing as I got the team correct but she actually said red!

No 3   I reckon its Norman Ashe who I am sure scored for England Schoolboys when he was on Villa's books in some way.

and no 8 is Billy Myerscough but I cant remember the second bit.

Only because I was convinced every answer would be Arsenal!
Thanks, CD
