Sorry to be a party pooper but nothing you do or don't do will have any bearing on any result. Grow the f*** up and read the horoscopes you undoubtedly enjoy :-)

Try telling that to my new claret hoodie that ensured we beat Liverpool, Everton and West Ham...but we lost at Man City when I didn't wear it.

Thank you gentleman. Don't worry I'm sure if we win the FA Cup I'll cope with the break up.

In the mean time if you want me to stay single and maintain us as a decent side then I would suggest a whip round, just enough that I can get an escort once a month. It's in your best interests...;)

They do publish it monthly, which is handy for the newly single bloke.

I got a Villa lanyard given to me the day before we beat Albion in the league, which I duly affixed my work pass too. I was told I have to replace it with a work one, but pleaded my case that it has luck on its side and it will remain until after the final.

Yesterday, despite there being better sections available, I gravitated to where we were for the semi, then realised it's exactly where I also was for beating Man U 3-1 and Leeds 3-0, for our defeats to Chelsea in the semi and Man U in the CCCF I was sat in different parts of the ground.

I have heard that Sherwood is planning a tactical bit of genius and getting Graham Fenton out of retirement

Took an old armchair to the tip at the weekend and was just cleaning out the back of the car and spotted this on the floor. Not 1957 admittedly but it shows that the omens are in our favour.

Wow, I never knew they made Minstrels as far back as the late 19th century.

About four years ago Mrs S got me one of those money jars, the type that has a little digital counter on the top.  I chuck all my loose copper change into it.  This morning, I went to put some change in and noticed that the amount in there was...18:74.  That has to be an omen.  There will be no more change thrown in there until after the cup final.

In 1978 we beat Ipswich 6-1.

A week later they went on to win the FA Cup....against....Arsenal.
