1. Seeing Gerrards` name on the team sheet at Wembley
2. Seeing Gerrard blowing out of his arse during the game
3. Seeing him blast the free kick high into his supporters towards the end of the game - at that point I knew we had won

Easily the top moment was seeing VCTM Jnr`s face during the final minutes when the roars from the Villa faithful became more and more frenzied - at the final whistle we hugged each other whilst jumping up and down like mad things

That was a proper "Dad and Lad" moment  - I shed a few tears of pride and looked up to the heavens and said "Dad were gonna do it this time" - I was born 1957 and my late father was at the `57 Final

I know the lad and dad feeling. The SF was no exception. For years, we have always hugged and I then kiss him on the head when we score. Now he is 19 I think he is a bit embarrassed. Anyway he still attends with me so its obviously not too bad!

Lot of time to reflect this week and the impatience of the wait for the Wet Spam match.

1) Surprise at Dave Woodhall's thinning hair on Midlands Today ?

2) Benteke's rolled penalty vs Albion ?

3) Weds evening yellow ticker tape sky sports -Lambert sacked?

4) Delph's winner at Wembley?

5) Bacuna's pass for Super Tom vs Toffees?

No 5 was pass of the season. Finish wasnt bad either

Because it was slap bang in the middle of so much horrendous sludge, this still stands out for me:

The ref giving the penalty against Albion. Our season turned at that moment.

It hasn't happened yet, but when it comes it'll have been worth the wait.

Until then, Benteke's penalty vs West Brom

The frozen look on Lambert's face immediately after Hull's second goal- That broke the dam of club prevarication and everything thing after has moved us forward.

1/ Delph`s goal at wembley :
2/ Gil`s goal. When we had nothing to be hopeful about :
3/ Jack Grealish putting Mcarthy on his arse :
4/ Sherwood celebrating of the west brom victory :

Keep them coming. My love for Villa is back !!!!

I find it very hard to comprehend the fact that Gil has been frozen out, such a talented player.

For me it is the second half against Leicester in the cup. First half was Lambert, second was a clear sign of Sherwood starting to influence things before he had even started.

Benteke's goal against Palace is right up there for me, it came between 2 long periods of utter shite and was about the only bright spark in our worst period I can ever recall.

Other than that I agree with Walters Warriors 4 above.

The Roar at wembley in the dying stages of the game. I think as a club and as a fanbase we allowed ourselves to believe. A lot of people including myself began to feel the pride return.

Single most important moment was when they decided to sack Lambert.

On the pitch, it's the last minute winner against the Bitters. They aren't necessarily the best moments, but they are the most important imo.

I would have to choose the last minute winner against The Albion, on the basis that I was so carried away I climbed on my seat & fell through it, damaging knee ligaments and causing bruising to my shin that actually still hasn't completely disappeared, and I didn't even feel it for 2 days!

Benteke's last minute penalty against Albion on my 20th Birthday. I was crying my eyes out and going absolutely mental.

Not to get too emotional, but I'd recently been through a horrendously bad (and first) break-up and it reminded me there's something in the world that I can love. Since that moment I've not missed a game all season (apart from Old Trafford, fortunately ;) )
