West Bromwich East? Great Barr or maybe Handsworth?

Looks like Leicester have taken Walsall South with a massive 36% on the swingometer.Must be the Pearson effect- it's always been a latent East Midlands hotbed ! ;)

Could be remarkably inaccurate. It says Ireland is 2.56% Villa, and my office alone is 4.16% Villa. However, if it was just a % of those interested in 'soccer', it'd be more like double that. I think, yardstickly-speaking, Ireland is probably 10% Villa.

I suppose it keeps someone in work doing these surveys but surely there more be something for them to do that's more beneficial to society.

Besides, isn't Twitter a communication medium for the exclusive use of twats?

More a medium for people living in the 21st century, not those living in the past. Or old.

Isn't everybody living in the 21st century? Or do you have access to time travel?

It's complete bollocks but I've still copied and pasted it to my olbiyun mates 😃
no prizes for guessing why villa has most hashtags and tweets emanating from west Bromwich than any other west midlands area 😄

We should do a how many football fans use Twitter poll? I think the % would be pretty small. But saying that I heard a stat the other day that 80% of people in the UK now have smart phones so it would appear I am in the 20% minority.

The media would have you believe everyone uses social media...I've worked in IT for years, had a smart phone for years, I've had Facebook for years (but don't use it), I only actually downloaded Instagram yesterday (and won't ever use it) and don't have Twitter or any inclination to start using it. Social media has its uses (if I was an event promoter then I'd be all over it) but for me its for people who don't know how to shut the f**k up even when they're on their own...I won't even start on couples posting love messages to each other on Facebook when they're actually sat in the same room...WTF is that all about?!

I didn't even know West Bromwich east was even an area, but I'm guessing they tweeted a lot about us after suffering those 2 defeats..

If I was a glory hunter, social media is exactly the way I would source all kinds of rubbish to post on my Facebook page.

I did this to a Liverpool glory hunter last Sunday. Every Facebook post related to Villa's win, was shared with everyone I know, but with his name tagged into it. He got a LOT of messages, which is nice because a) he's a twat, b) he's a 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' fan and c) he's a stereotypical Policeman.

I felt it very childish to do, but I loved it at the same time.
