On a similar note, where's a good place to park? For the 2010 we did the official Wembley parking but being as it's £30, what's the next best option?

£30 to park your car for an hour and a half, fuck my old boots.

Yeah, we did before the semis and the final in 2000.

So that's why we went to the Punch and effing Judy in Covent Garden before the Chelsea semi final?

That was because of the free charlie in the loo if you recall...

Just looking into this. Private driveways may be an option at circa £15

Hmm, if that's the next best then official parking might be the best, felt like I missed out a bit on getting to walk up Wembley way though!

I used a site called www.justpark.com and have paid £9 for the day (booked it from noon until 6pm) on someone's drive, supposedly 0.6 miles from the ground.

I got the link in an email from AVST here: http://villatrust.org.uk/?p=1214

Hopefully it will all work out!

I don't know wembley very well but I'd suggest central london beforehand.  The Taps at Euston to Fitzrovia to marylebone.
That's a good pub crawl on any day of the week, let alone when yo need to be somewhere else.

We always gather in The Volunteer in Baker St then straight on the tube. Best free parking is Neasden IKEA. Tesco will chuck you off.

Fab pub, I remember going there before the 2010 League Cup Final. Some serious old school Villa fans in there, the sort who just wear an old Villa badge and give you a quiet nod when they recognise one of their kind, probably including you Brian.
