I've been lurking and sometimes posting on h&v since 2001. A lot has changed in the world and with the Villa since then. I wrote a post in 2001 about how it would be great to see the Holte pub refurbished and re-opened. I got to to have a couple of pints in there in 2006 just before the Fulham match and just before I moved to Australia. Thanks for that Randy and erm...everything else! Currently keeping an eye on flights back home for late May, in the hope we sweep aside that Mickey Mouse team from merseyside and book a date at Wembley. Will be first time home since 2012 and only second trip back in 9 years. So... Come on Villa- make it happen!!

Why do you want to be a Villian? Because of my father, I guess.

Dad was from Aston, lived near Tamworth until 11 and carried it on through the good and bad times, 'cos thats what we do.

In Tiptree now ( via Cambridge) and games are either via the radio or on the telly these days.

Postal is a nickname a co-worker gave me as a pun on my last name Lauder (Postal-Order)

Well we get a Chrimbo Card off Auntie Estee but thats about it  ;). And "Out of Order" was another variation  ???

Tiptree, not bad. And depending on the wind, we can tell what Jam they are making that day.
