Get The Points and LIFT The Cup - Keep Strong Villa

Just a quick thread started to get the positive vibes back. We have a maximum of nine games left this season - nine games with so much to play for. Win, lose or draw tomorrow night our fate will not be decided so let's get the pressure off the players, lift them and allow them the space to enjoy their football. I couldn't care less who our starting eleven is tomorrow night, or who our starting eleven is between now and season's end. What will be will be, they will be the ones fighting and scrapping for us. The mentality and mood of the support will play a huge part in how our season will play out so let's keep strong and believe in the colours and the shirt.
To that end, if it's okay with the mods etc., I've decided to start this thread to get the positive vibes flooding out. The fabled Orange Dot seems to have temporarily been drained of its juice so I propose we use this thread as a negative energy sump. Come here if you feel worried, down or fretful and simply get your Villa belief recharged and refocused right here and right now. Stick any positive iconic photographs of Villa up here that can recharge our batteries, get us the points and win us the Cup. With the help of Villans past, present and future let's wring every ounce out of these remaining games.
I'm sticking a photo up of one of my heroes and one of the greatest players ever. I don't know where Billy is right now, but wherever he is I'm sure he is with us, fighting for us, kicking every ball with us, desperate for us to win every single remaining game left this season. I don't care who we have left to play - let's put the fear of God into the opposition, get our club over the line and win another trophy for the cabinet.

This was when I knew for sure I loved the Villa. We'd had a poor season. We turned up and most people expected an easy win for Utd. If we make it to the final this year, we'll face an in form Arsenal side who will be expected to waltz to victory. I hope we've got the spirit of 94 with us.

Lovely stuff.
The thing is we can all start thinking about the worst case scenarios - and like Ron Saunders said, if you feel so sure Villa are going to balls it up, throw it all away and so on just stick some money on it:
Stick some money on Barton winding a Villa player up and getting us reduced to ten men.
Stick a tenner on QPR scoring a penalty.
Stick a fiver on QPR getting a last minute winner.
The thing is negativity becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy and our club doesn't need that shite. Stick money on all the worst possible outcomes and get karma on our side if needs must and if it gets the negativity out of you. Mindset over these next nine games is what it is all about: fight tooth and nail to be on 31 points come Tuesday night and then sit back on Wednesday night and observe who fate decides will face us in the Semi. Like I say, Villa's past, present and future, stick together and fight through this.
Here's the great Jimmy Hogan wearing his Villa top and doing his bit for morale.
