The pack are going to have fun fitting his name in a song!

It has been a while since we had a big lyrics competition so, ahem...

In Villa Park and Birmingham there's a growing feeling of delirium
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the Sky Jet Set
The Big Four said we will bury you
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It'd be such an ignorant thing to do
If the Rushian scores for Villa too.

How can he play that little boy?
We know he's Sherwood's deadly toy.
There is no monopoly on common sense
He's just sixteen but he must commence
He shares the same biology
Regardless of child psychology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Rushian scores for Villa too.

There is an historical precedent to put
kids on the pitch when they're excellent
He looks scared stiff but he's bound to score
It's a shame he ain't been played before
Mister Lerner says "I will protect you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Rushian scores for Villa too
He shares the same biology
Regardless of child psychology
What might save us me and you
Is if the Rushian scores for Villa too.

Yes. I thought a lively number with easy-to-remember lyrics would have the Holte rocking once again.

Less than 7 pages in 5 years sums him up. I wish him well but it's more likely he'll be playing for Bromsgrove rather than top flight football over here again.

Wow...that's unexpected. Choosing the lifestyle over knuckling down and working his way back up in Britain?

Best of luck to him, really wanted him to do it for us, showed impressive form in patches albeit mostly in friendlies/U23 level and a bit at Cambridge/Tranmere.

I really like RHM.  He has not fulfilled his huge early promise.  By chance I was able to see him play at Cam U, where they loved him.  Once this travel crisis is over I hope to see him play in Paphos (Pafos) where my wife and I take regular holidays.

They have some very nudge nudge wink wink banks in Cyprus.  Perhaps Rushian has salted away a few quid in his brief career.

How many of our young players go this way, i just think of the kids who are taken at eight years or even younger then are let go after ten years at the same club, i hope the clubs support them through the devastation.

Strange one really. Still only 21. Got loans to Div 2 and then Div1 clubs that sort of hints at a natural progression and plan by the club, then goes to Derby and nothing...… Maybe he was just hopelessly out of his depth in the Championship, but you wonder why he seems to have been totally shifted aside in favour of Davis since his debut.

I don't think he would have offered less than Davis or Samatta since "Project Restart". At least would have given us pace.

Sad that he never made it, 2nd youngest player in our history, youngest player in our Premier League history, records he will probably hold for sometime.

All the best Rushian
