Don't suppose I will be able to get a ticket as the club have seemingly 'lost' my booking reference... two FA cup semi finals I remember don't think we sold our full allocation, but in both those years we had just played in the League Cup final a week before (96 and 2010), so I imagine we will sell out this time

Which league game will be re-arranged for it?
Qpr home match

Typical. It will be interesting to see when that gets moved to. If that's moved to May, April is going to be a difficult month with no rest bite.

I couldn't care less who we get, like I say, if our name is on the Cup we will win.  Pulling a so-called "lesser" side out of the hat and thinking it will be a doddle or easier to get through does not work with me - that heaps different pressures and dynamics on the team and match.  What will be will be.  I do think we have the players to beat any of the remaining teams.  Let's stick together and keep the belief and momentum rolling.  UTV.

Booking references are printed on the tickets, so just dig one out

That final week of the season won't be for the faint hearted.

I doubt we'll improve that much that we'll be 6 points clear of the bottom three with two games to play.

well its going to be a Premier League team. Not the highest placed but the next one down. Each round we have started at the foot of the Championship and scored a brace each game and getting drawn against a team slightly higher up the pyramid.

Blackpool
Bournemouth
Leicester
WBA

hopefully we're drawn as the home team.

This might seem odd, but I don't care, as Man United, and Arsenal, and Liverpool, aren't that great, and Villa being what we are we'd have as much chance of f****** up against Bradford or Reading or Blackburn as we'd have of beating one of the bigger teams.

Moreover, I don't want us to get to the final and then perform as we did against Chelsea the last time we got to the FA Cup Final.  I want us to win it.  And our best chance of winning it, in my view, would be to beat one of the "top" teams in the semis, and then whoever else we play in the final.

My thoughts exactly, agree 100% with this.

I think we've got more chance of beating whoever turns up with this manager.
Tim is up for it.

I certainly don't think it is as simple as "get the shit team, win, easy". You only have to think back to Bradford for that.

If i look at our chances of raising our game against a decent team, and compare it to the "typical fucking Villa" factor of making ourselves look like idiots against the likes of Bradford (again), they even themselves out.
