I was in a Breakfast meeting with about 25 other people, covertly following the game on the H&V match thread. I felt exactly like this bloke inside in the lead up to the penalty but had to exude an emotionless stare listening to colleagues.

When I refreshed the page again and he'd scored my knee shot up in celebration and mine and the next blokes coffee went everywhere. White table cloth too.

If I happened to see a dramatic event occurring in real life I'd probably have to ask the participants to wait while I remembered  how to use the video functionality on my phone.

Love it.

The jubilation at getting a last minute penalty
that turns into the nervousness at realising we have a penalty
which morphs into absolute fear and the inability to be able to watch in case we miss
the half turning from the screen not wanting to acknowledge what's going on
and then the absolute outpouring of joy

Brilliant.

Fair play to him!

I was worse. I ran about 30 lengths of my lounge shouting obscene things at Pulis and Gardner after the ball hit the net, waking my 3 year old and getting odd looks from my wife.

Blowing kisses at Foster followed by "you tosser".

Hilarious!

Mike Jeffries was attacked by a great lummox jumping on top of him.

Ha ha! That's brilliant, so funny. What football can do to an adult. It's slightly worrying as I know I was like it myself, shouting at the screen and then hiding during the penalty.

Football there's no Substitute..........well there are several but you know what I mean.

I was in the North lower and took Hutton's silly tackle as an opportunity to get out and around to the other side of the ground, were my mates sit. Got there just in time to witness the pen and be with folks that don't mind being thrown around.

Got to admit a large part of me thought Albion would score from the free kick and I didn't want to be watching those lot jumping around again. I was also very tempted to go and get the car warmed up... UTV

Many years ago when my lad (aged about 10) became interested in the Villa we watched a Europa match standing behind the settee with scarves draped over it as he wanted to know what it was like on the terracing (I wasn't allowed to give the true ambience by chasing him round the house and beating him then refusing to let him use the toilet)

We sang all the way through and "Knees up Mother Brown" became a favourite. When we scored he insisted on standing on  the "barrier".

Ridiculous but I loved it!

Fantastic!!! It was just like myself my son and a good mate in my local pub in Andover all
jumping around as though we had won the premiership. we even had a Gooner celebrating :)
the landlord couldn't stop laughing.
We will be at Villa Park tomorrow. VILLA TILL I DIE.
