There's nothing in those pics that's any different to some of the Villa fans that I've had the misfortune to encounter at away games.

Yep, you away followings are always worse for behaviour than home ones.

I get the feeling that for some people the actual football gets in the way of what they really want to do; which is get pissed, shout obscenities and act hard, all whilst safely separated by a fence / cordon of stewards from another bunch of idiots doing the same thing

I've seem more heavily pissed villa fans at away games this season than any other season I can recall.
Probably something to do with the brand of football we've been employing.

I've been more heavily pissed at away games this season and yes it's entirely down to the football, it's very upsetting.

However I haven't thrown a punch in anger at anyone since around 1980 when I was a child so the beer hasnt been invented yet that would make me violent. I'm more a 'sleeper' when drunk.

Pretty handy for our type of football over the past few years.

Come on, we have a much better dressed away following. They're all wearing blue Lee jeans with their black work shoes.

I've seen tougher looking fans on the front row of a One Direction concert.

I remember going to a Wigan v Man City match on Boxing Day about 10 years ago with my brother in law and a load of his mates who were all rugby fans with no interest in football. It was a belting game, 4-3 to Wigan but they were fascinated by a large section of the City support who spent the entire game goading the Wigan supporters nearest to them and barely watching any of the match. They struggled to understand why they didn't just stay in the pub and spend whatever their ticket cost at the bar.

We definitely have some bellends at away matches, the pics were because they were claiming they were sweet innocent cuddly fans, when those pictures are from the Mail. So probably some of the tamer ones.

I always think of the baggies as a pint of Banks Mild.

Its a midlands thing, your sort of happy it exists, BUT you wouldn't want one and you would nevr order one.

Sort of happy they exist in the very far background of life

I still remember the twats I was sat by in the Semi at Bradford. Literally some of the worst people in the World.
