While we've been busy setting a new club record for scoring nil, Albion have now set a new club record for keeping clean sheets. Also before Pulis arrived Brown Ideye was widely perceived as a waste of money, and Berahino was playing the big 'I am'. So we can't score, they keep clean sheets, and they've got 2 strikers in form.

2-0 to the Villa

We will lose one and draw one, the way we are going 0-0 and 0-1

I agree with most of that including playing Gil, not sure about Bacuna though but anything but more Weiman and Gabby.

Bacuna offers more to a match than the useless crab like, mannequin Westwood. I fucking hate that player epitomises everything that's boring about us right now. He should be plying his trade in the lower reaches of the Championship.

You hate a Villa player?

Yes, sorry Dave but I'm sick to the back teeth of seeing shit like Westwood repeating the same mistakes over and over. I'd be happy to see him never play for the club again rather than take thousands out of it.

I love the club, not a fair few of the losers that are currently representing it embarrassingly.

I'd get a sense of proportion if I were you.

I dislike Westwood playing for Villa, he's shit, what's over reacting about that?

I tend to reserve hatred for more significant figures than footballers who aren't as good as I'd like them to be.

I'd take 3 points on Tuesday over a win next Saturday.

We're almost definitely going to get a significantly lower turnout for this than the cup game which annoys me to no end, but either way we should get a good atmosphere and hopefully we'll see them off. It's on my Birthday so surely that means something?

Please Villa, Please.

Can see the atmosphere being really poisonous on Tuesday and Saturday.

Anyway, can only see a defeat in what I suspect will be the last league match against Albion for a very long time

Agreed. This has 03.03.03 written all over it. Hope I'm wrong and we splatter them into the ground with a performance that's long, long overdue.

I've zero faith in this lot now so I'm not expecting much. Maybe a rot stopping point.

1-1.

In all the years i have followed the villa (55 +) i have seen some pretty poor Villa teams, like when we were relegated in 1966 and 1987 and even when we were relegated to the third division. Those teams did at least score a few goals but conceded a lot more, which is why they were relegated.
This current team are a disgrace to the shirt What is it,3 goals in the last 12 league games,6 successive away games  without scoring and 13 goals all season and we are into March. Sadly,it looks like we are going down and quite frankly in my opinion will deserve to .

I think the greatest surprise is that with a goal scoring record like ours we're not bottom of the table and completely marooned there.

We talk about a lack of good fortune in games, well we've been bloody lucky in that respect.

I'd get dad's army in for this one aka - Swiss Phil, Joe "60 a day" Cole & Captain Ron.
Drop Okore, gabby and Weimann .
1-0 home win. Benteke .
