This defeatist crap is getting right up my pip. There are twelve games left. We're not down yet. How about some showing some balls and some fight and stop willing us to go down - leave that to the bitter birds and the knuckledraggers.

Quite right Jimbo. Twelve games left  it could be anybody. If we beat Newcastle anything is possible.

We would need a big, hard, strong centre forward, a couple of good, pacey wide players, a very strong, physical central midfielder.

They would be replacing Vlaar, Okore who I reckon will attract bids, Cissokho who I think a european side will shell a couple of million for, Delph, Sanchez who I expect will be back in Spain, Cleverley. I would try everything to get Sinclair to come next season anyway, I think we would have an outside chance, and he would be a great asset in the Championship. Gil might stay. Benteke would be gone. Gabby I would hope will be gone, but fear he will still be here. Weimann might get a move to Germany or Holland for a couple of million maybe.

And WM, who were doing their usual gloating after the game.

Didn't we win away at Southampton last season?

This.  There's thirty-odd points to play for and there's a hair's breadth between five or six teams.  Dig deep.

A hair's breadth between four and the potential of from 12th down to be drawn in to it.

here is a good one if the worse comes to the worse and Timmy cannot save us, we are bound to lose at least six players
which six would you let go

                                             Gabby
                                             Benteke
                                             Delph
                                             Cole
                                             Vlaar
                                             Cissokho

and of course Sinclair and Cleverly would hop it

FFS stop this. I don't give a f*** who goes and couldn't care less if they did. Their job is NOW not next season. Crap thread.

By that logic we should look at everyone else's fixture list and discount all of the games those teams should lose as well. Because had we done that before yesterday Burnley would have lost for sure at Chelsea. It doesn't work like that, and we have to approach every game with the opportunity to win. Nothing is a given.
