Play a formation which gets the best out of the current squad. Improve the coaching at the club.
Inspire some belief and enthusiasm in our players
Make us harder to beat
Retain our Premiership status, this is in our own hands given the home games we have left.

In the summer:

I reckon that's when the likes of Ramsey will join him when QPR bring in this so called dream Manager.

Be allowed to hold a fire sale to get rid of the deadwood.
Be given enough money to improve at least two areas of the squad. For me, central defence, centre midfield.
Make us more competitive season on season.

Like every Villa manager I expect him to win every match. Realistically, though, the remit is absolutely survival for this season and that's all he can focus on.

Next season? God knows what's going on with the club. Can you imagine if we're not bought this summer, but Lerner carries on with this Francis of Asissi attitude to money? I'd feel sorry for any manager if that happens. If we are bought, however, then expectations will change accordingly and Sherwood will have to go with it.

I'm guessing that TS's remit is as PL's was - keep the team up and at no unnecessary expense - so I can't really get too excited about this. Nothing has changed as far as running the club long enough to sell it goes, so I'm expecting very little.

Stay up and win the FA Cup this season. Top 6 and the FA Cup next season.

I reckon I'd lose interest in the FA Cup if we actually won it.

Stay up and win the FA Cup this season.

Top six and win the Europa League the season after.

Top one and win the Champions League the following year.

Stop us stinking out the league, and keep us in it.
Get us at least one day out at Wembley.

Once we've done that, we'll set the bar higher for next year.

Overhaul the one team ahead of us, then stay in front of the bottom three until we're safe.

Same as every manager. get us into the top half, then top 6, then top 4, then the title. With Cups along the way and regular forays into europe. With the odd trophy there, too. Sign some big names, restore the pride in the name Aston Villa, and make us exciting to watch.

I very much hope he will keep us up.

I expect us to win more home games and lose more away games. Less draws. More interesting interviews, more crosses and goals. Beyond that who knows?

To get closer to the potential this group is capable of.
To keep us up this season.
To restore some pride.

Keep us up and sacked by November.
This

So you're hoping we stay up and then are shit between August and November so he gets fired? See, I'm hoping we stay up, win the FA Cup this season and he has us in the top six by November. But each to their own I suppose.

If the effect of his half-time team talk is anything to go by, the Champions league at least!!.
